The Mall Presbyterian Church Choir is a four part choir comprised of twenty-three members at present. Our primary function is to lead the praise at Sunday Services. At various times throughout the year we meet for practice on Tuesday evening from 8pm until 9pm when we enjoy good fellowship as well as preparing music for special Services. New members from age twelve years upwards are always welcome.
Female Focus is the women’s ministry fellowship group in The Mall. We meet on the second Thursday evening of each month from September to March at 8.00 p.m. in the Gosford Hall. As part of the wider work of Presbyterian Women we seek to support mission at home and overseas. We enjoy a varied programme of activities and all females of any age are most welcome to join us.
Details for the remainder of the session are:
- Thursday 12th January Elizabeth Conn – The story of the Titanic
- Thursday 9th February Zephaniah Dancers
- Thursday 8th March Evening out at Brownlow House, Lurgan
- Saturday 10th March Coffee Morning 10.30 a.m. – 12 noon. Proceeds to PW missions
The Mall Praise Band usually provides music for two services each month. We meet before the service to practise the music together. Anyone who plays an instrument from approximately Grade 4 or 5 standard is most welcome to join us. There’s no age limit! We are a committed, happy band who enjoy using the talents that God has given us to help lead in worship and glorify him.
We meet for praise, prayer and Bible study each Wednesday evening at 8.00 p.m. in the Gosford Place Hall. You are welcome to join us as and when you can. Midweek is to enable Christians to grow in grace, to mature in their faith, to be trained, to have fellowship with other believers and to worship our God and Saviour Jesus Christ.
2011 has seen the formation of our brand new “Friendly League” which currently comprises of church badminton clubs from Loughbrickland, Moy, Killyman and ourselves. Other clubs have been invited to join and we have already enjoyed some really great nights of fun and fellowship. The principal aim of the league is to provide a structure for playing our friendly matches and bringing like minded badminton clubs together to enjoy a night of fun and friendship.
New members are very welcome. We meet in the Gosford hall every Monday night at 7.30 moving to the main hall at 9pm.
The Junior club meets every Thursday night in the main hall from 7pm to 8.45pm. Age range P5 up and new members are very welcome. If you are interested in learning how to play badminton you will be made most welcome.
