1st Armagh Boys’ Brigade

Why should I, (my son,) join 1st Armagh BB Company? The Object of the Boys’ Brigade is:

The advancement of Christ’s Kingdom among boys, and the promotion of habits of obedience, reverence, discipline, self respect and all that tends towards a true Christian manliness.

All our officers try to follow this object helping to ensure that the boys in our Company learn good habits and good standards that will prepare them for adulthood, and they will learn about God and what He has done for them through the death of his Son.

In today’s world The Boys’ Brigade is a place where you can find good influences, wholesome fun, true friendship and a real concern for your well-being. Any boy who is not involved in BB is missing out – so come along, get involved, and be part of the best youth organisation in the world.

Salt Cellar

Salt Cellar is a Christian Youth Club whose main aim is to help children and young people come to a saving personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.  It is also a place where you can come and meet with your friends, and also make new friends.  Age range is from P2 to 2nd year and we meet every Saturday night from 7pm to 8.45pm.

The bible talk remains the central point of the evening.  The craft activities are very popular as well as all the games, sports and a fantastic tuck shop.  We also organise trips away to different fun places.  All the members really enjoy our nights at Salt Cellar, filled with great fun, in a safe environment.

The children all enjoy the different games and activities such as football, unihoc, dodge ball and some new games.  The Wii, X Box and Playstation are all hugely popular.

Please continue to remember the work and witness of Salt Cellar in your prayers.

John 14:6

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Sunday School

“Children of today are the Church of tomorrow.”

The provision of Sunday School is part of our response to our baptismal vows where we promise to bring up our children in the worship of the church, so that they may come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

All children and young people from Primary 1 up to Year 10 are very welcome to Sunday School. We meet from 10.15 am (sharp) to 11.15 am each Sunday from September to June.  We have a collection each week and on the 3rd Sunday of each month, we take a special collection for Pringle Home Orphanage in Jamaica.

We as teachers see parents as a vital part of our team by showing an interest in what your child has been taught. Above all, take time to read from the Bible and pray with and for your children. We want to support parents as they lovingly seek to make Christ known to their children, so if we can help in any way please do not hesitate to come and speak to us at any time.
