M.O.T. (Mission Outreach Training)

M.O.T. will be held on Saturday 23rd June 2012 in 1st Holywood Presbyterian from 10am to 4pm.  It is aimed at everyone from the complete novice right up to those who have been involved in this vital work for years, including team leaders.  There will be a keynote address to inspire your team members and then 3 sets of seminars from subjects as diverse as how to teach a memory verse to how to be a good team member.  The seminars will be pitched at different levels according to the experience of the participants, so there truly will be something useful for everyone.

The Board of Youth and Children’s Ministry is keen that this event will be a blessing to as many of our congregations as possible as it is our desire to serve local churches as they seek to reach children and young people in the name of Jesus Christ. Perhaps this applies to you but if not, do you know anyone who is involved in this work?  It would be very much appreciated if you could let them know about this.

The event costs just £5 (which includes lunch, coffee etc) but it is important that those intending to be there register in advance.  The registration date has been extended to Monday 18th June, so if you or anyone you know is hoping to attend, can we please ask for forms to be returned to the Youth and Children’s office by that date.  If this is not possible, it would be important to contact the office by email or telephone to advice the office staff of your intention to attend.
